GAC-Toyota Bo’ai Primary School Teachers’ Training Demand Research

•Background

- Before this project, GAC-Toyota’s donation to Bo’ai Primary School mainly consisted of hardware facilities. 

•CCIA’s services and results

- Conducted desk research, teachers’ survey, principal interview etc. at GAC-Toyota-supported school to analyze needs of rural teachers’ training.

-Reviewed and analyzed landscape of rural teachers’ training in China, including government’s national training program and its drawbacks, innovative practices of educational nonprofits, corporation participation in rural teachers’ training etc.; conducted comprehensive analysis of content, format, providers, receivers, and outcome assessment of rural teachers’ training, which supported teachers’ training at Bo’ai Primary School.
