- In 2007, Vanke Co., Ltd., one of the largest residential real estate developers in China, hoped to establish a corporate foundation, which would become a key vehicle of its CSR exercise, and wanted to specify the Foundation’s direction and positioning.

•CCIA’s services and results

- Advised on major strategic problems Vanke Foundation faced during its preparation and early days; helped the Foundation specify its goal – “advocate for public good and volunteerism; promote development of public good in China”— and explore innovative models of CSR.

- Assisted Vanke Foundation in registration and board assembling (the Foundation was successfully registered at the Ministry of Civil Affairs in 2008 as a nationwide private foundation, with an initial fund of 50 million RMB).
